One Way Street were one of the original inspirations for me to get involved in puppetry. I first visited their I-Fest at 16 years old and it made a huge imprerssion on me - that's when I knew I wanted to take puppetry more seriously. Todd and his team are a real insiration to hundreds of puppeteers worldwide , mostly as a result of the regular training events and festivals they run. Dave and June Privett are two exceptionally talented performers. Dave has been a really big help to me over the years. I was fortunate enough to spend a weekend with Dave in 2008 helping me to improve my puppet building skills. Dave has a brilliant video series on puppet construction which is well worth purchasing if you're interested in learning how to build great puppets. Phil Fletcher is a comedy legend. I first "met" Phil in the good old days of Myspace in about 2005, I have subsequently become good friends with him. Phil is currently working for CBBC as a puppeteer, but I first became aware of him because of his excellent puppet building skills. Phil has become something of a puppet building mentor for me over the years. Rory and Stephen at Vivid Broadcast have been really good to me over the years. Vivid Broadcast have given me the opportunity to present TV shows and produce lots of online puppet videos.
