Pierre was built for David's appearance on BBC1s Bargain Hunt with his wife in 2006.
Ever since Pierre's appearance on TV screens in 2006 he has been the figurehead of Hellyer's Puppet Workshop. From 2007 David has been posting videos on YouTube initially hosted by his puppets and laterly by himself. Pierre was the first character David put online and is still the most regularly appearing character. On the left you can see a selection of old and new videos from our friendly French artist.
Danny was built for David's 2008 visit to I-Fest (see below pictured on the ONU campus). Danny is a key figure at David's training session as he is a performance favourite. Danny is a rod arm character.
